Afghan Faces is a high quality publication reflecting upon the daily lives of Afghan people through their faces.

 

The people of Afghanistan are wonderful and photogenic people, not always understood by an outside world used to seeing images of the country’s ongoing and painful conflict. Afghan Faces offers the reader a unique insight into the people of this troubled country.

 

Author John Casson and photographer Jeremy Rata travelled to the country in August 2010 along with former ITN reporter and News at Ten presenter Sandy Gall, who has written the Afghan Faces foreword.

 

All profits from the sale of Afghan Faces and associated events will be donated to Help For Heroes, The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund and Sandy Gall's Afghanistan Appeal.
